Join the Conversation Take part in a lively online discussion about biocultural diversity conservation. Where we all come together to network, share ideas, and learn from one another. This is a meeting place for everyone who has an interest in protectinig and restoring the biocultural diversity of life. We created this space to nurture a vibrant community of practice that will make us all stronger, more visible, and more effective in the way we do our work. By building bridges among people and worldviews, and by establishing better communication among ourselves, together we are forging unity in biocultural diversity.

You can help us spread the word about biocultural diversity by becoming a Terralingua fan on our Facebook page. To do that, just click the “Like” button at the top of the page. And please tell your Facebook friends around the world to become Terralingua fans!

Ways you can get involved

  • Call for Submissions: Terralingua Langscape This is a call for submissions for our next Issue of Langscape, Terralingua’s newsletter. We are seeking articles, stories, photographs and news. Deadline is April 15, 2012. The main theme: Indigenous Oral Traditions. This issue will be based around Terralingua’s Project, Voices of the Earth. We are looking for case studies, traditional stories, and photographs to support the pressing issue of indigenous oral traditions and its relation to biocultural diversity as a whole.
  • Inviting biocultural conservation projects for Terralingua portal If you are or have been involved in an on-the-ground biocultural diversity conservation project, we would like to offer you an opportunity to showcase your project on our biocultural diversity conservation portal. The portal is visited frequently by people interested in biocultural diversity conservation, including indigenous and local communities, researchers, funders, and others. By including your project in the gallery, you can literally put it on the map of biocultural diversity conservation.
