Our Round Table on Biocultural Diversity discussion forum is open to anyone who shares our mission to support the integrated protection, maintenance and restoration of the biocultral diversity of life - the world’s biological, cultural, and linguistic diversity. Just register and start interacting with other people around the world by posting your thoughts, questions and suggestions about biocultural diversity. Create new threads or respond to previous postings. This forum is for all of you who care about biocultural diversity - use it actively, and make it a vibrant space for promoting understanding and appreciation of the biocultural diversity of life!
If you wish to become a Terralingua member and receive the free benefits of membership (our quarterly newsletter, Langscape, discounts on our publications and other special offers, occasional updates on “hot off the press” news), register as a member. You will have access to both the Round Table and the Members Discussion Forum. In this second forum, which is restricted to members, you can let us know specifically how you, as a member, think Terralingua can be more effective in accomplishing its mission, and how you can help us do so, as well as how Terralingua can help you support biocultural diversity wherever you are. We will also periodically post questions or information for members. Let’s work together to achieve our shared goals!
This discussion forum also hosts a specialized forum for discussion of issues related to on-the-ground biocultural diversity maintenance and restoration. Initially reserved to the contributors to Terralingua’s Global Source Book on Biocultural Diversity, this forum is now open by invitation to those interested in discussing this topic. Please email our web manager (ortixia [at] terralingua.org) to apply for membership in this forum, telling us about your background and activities and why this topic is of interest to you. We’ll be back to you after reviewing your request.
All three forums are moderated, but we rely on you to keep your postings appropriate for the topic, focused and respectful. Thank you!
